New glasses, new perspective

So I got new glasses because my prescription was not as good any more. I guess my eyes are getting worse… Anyway, when we ordered the glasses and couple weeks ago, I had a hard time choosing. I just don’t like how glasses look on me. But I got a pair of blue frames because my mom liked them, my friend liked them, and the lady who worked there liked them. I was just tired.

Now that I have them, I don know what to think. But I know that I have to like them no matter what. So even if I never get completely used to them, I have to wear them anyway because without them I ruin my eyes.

Part of it is good: I’m going off to college, I get a new style (kind of)

Part of it is just that I don’t like glasses on myself and can’t get contacts.

But this is how I feel about a lot of things right now. Like weight, and gaining 6 pound over a week of vacation. I hope I do something about that, because with initiative, I can.

But glasses I can’t do anything about. I just have to bare it. The only new perspective is stronger prescription for my lenses. So I guess this was kind of pointless.

Summer is making me feel like that. I’m not sure if it is because of life or college.

PS: I want to make a new layout and get wordpress (because fanupdate is out of date) and I’m considering revamping this as a freshman year blog. But I may just use a journal instead of the Internet. I’ll let you know.
